HOW TO ACHEIVE TRULY HYDRATED SKIN 🩵

This might feel like a silly question.. but have you ever wondered how to achieve truly hydrated skin? Can't you just slather on some moisturizer or spray a toner on your face?

Hydrated skin goes far deeper than your skincare and it’s not as simple as just drinking more water…

Many of us would have been drinking live spring water many years ago which had natural electrolytes. Versus the water we drink now which is often void of essential nutrients after having been heavily filtered to remove toxins. 

If you are struggling to maintain hydrated skin in the winter look into incorporating some of the 5️⃣ following things:

1. When using oil/fat based skincare be sure to always apply to damp skin so it is not just superficially moisturizing. The damp skin allows the ingredients to deliver true hydration and moisture to your skin.

2. Tremella supports your body’s production of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid and allows your system to maintain optimal moisture levels.

This is why we have this mushroom in our serum, however it is also excellent when taken internally. Tinctures are a great way to incorporate this.

3. Coconut water is very hydrating and naturally contains sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

4. Hibiscus and rose are wonderful allies for this.

Herbal teas are a lovely way to increase the benefits of your water intake each day. Many teas are naturally diuretic but these are less so.

5. Marshmallow root is another easy way to incorporate more hydration. Easily made into an infusion and can be steeped with rose and/or hibiscus.
