This melting balm thoroughly cleanses and moisturizes with a synergistic blend of sea buckthorn berry oil, castor oil, sandalwood, and rosehips  — which contain vitamin c, ricinoleic acid, and naturally occurring retinoids to renew skin.

Ancient skincare wisdom tells us that sea buckthorn berry oil is used to rebalance skin sebum production which is vital to experience healthy skin. It is naturally high in omega fatty acids, as well as vitamins A, C, and E. It contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties to calm the skin.

Sea buckthorn is also known to be skin tightening and anti-bacterial, to kill bacteria that may lead to acne. 

Castor oil is an important player in this formula to help breakup congestion and carry the benefits deep into the skin.  Although stand alone it contains powerful healing properties, it also enhances the power of other ingredients when used in tandem.

Beeswax is included in this beautiful formula for its skin protective qualities.

This balm can be used to cleanse, melt away makeup, and moisturize. It is also an excellent after-shave balm to prevent irritation! A little goes a long way.

𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗜𝗟: This beautiful melting balm contains castor oil which is a powerful, moisturizing ingredient that has the ability to penetrate deeply into the skin and break up congestion. Ricinoleic acid found in castor oil has been found to be anti-inflammatory.

𝗝𝗢𝗝𝗢𝗕𝗔 𝗢𝗜𝗟: Blended seamlessly with the castor oil is Jojoba oil an anti-inflammatory oil which is technically a wax works to soften the skin as well retain moisture.

𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦: The balm is infused with whole rosehips (not rosehip oil) and sandalwood.

Rosehips contain a naturally occurring retinoid which work to encourage cellular turnover, brighten the skin, lower inflammation and prevent breakouts.

𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗: Sandalwood is a mild astringent that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries.

HOW TO USE ME

To cleanse or remove makeup apply a small amount of cleansing balm and gently massage into skin [a little goes a long way.] Using warm water dampen a cotton round or soft towel and wipe off the balm.

If you are removing makeup repeat until the other side or a new round/towel is clean after wiping

Can be followed with your favorite face wash.

For a deeper treatment leave on your skin for five to fifteen minutes before cleansing. You can use this time to massage the skin if that feels supportive.

If using as an after-shave to prevent razor burn, start by exfoliating before shaving and lightly exfoliate the skin with a wet towel, mitt, or brush again after shaving. Follow by running cold water over the area then lightly patting dry + apply the balm to the area.

Continue to exfoliate as you normally would when incorporating this product into your routine.

This balm has exceeded my expectations! I have been warming it up between my hands and massaging it onto my face before wiping it off. I do this in the evenings until I feel my skin is fully cleansed. I use this the same way that I have oil cleansed in the past.
